Stud Out A Concrete Wall With French Drain

Maybe 5 or 6 feet of wall space where you would see water seeping into the drain at times.

Now here are my questions. I have been looking for a solution but keep getting french drain external results. Preferably with metal studs and dry walls. My basement has a french drain around the perimeter.

You can bump the framing out in front of the drain but you will lose a lot of space that way. The water seeps into the french drain in one corner only. What i want to do is to put up walls. Basement is about 50x30 ft.

Do i put 2 inch rigid foam on the cinder block wall it would be over the drain and then add the stud wall to meet. It is not an external french drain its a french drain along the walls that drain into a sump pump. I have french drains around the perimeter of the basement with a little curb like lip in front of the walls. To clarify i want to put a stud wall along the edge of the perimeter drain.

We plugged the original dime sized hole but obviously the water still seeps through in that general area it would be fine to leave that area unfinished. I would not put my bottom plate on top of the gravel of the french drain.
